<p>OKAY... I'm about 95% sure I'll go to Madison if I get in.</p>

UW GPA: 3.5
Weighted GPA: 4.2
ACT: 30
Varsity Cross Country 7 years, Several Leadership Positions, Volunteered a few times, and a lot of music/theater stuff.
I work @ Caribou Coffee, and have since 10th grade.
Honors Classes I took in HS:
(HP means "Honors Placement")
HP US History - Soph.
HP (Pre-AP) English 10 - Soph.
HP Chemistry - Junior
AP English 11 - Junior
AP Art History 1200-1500 -Junior
AP Art History 1600-Present - Junior
AP English 12 -Sen
AP Spanish 4 -Sen
HP Economics -Sen
AP Statistics -Sen</p>

<p>I got 3 recs, 2 of them are very strong (one of from a prof. @ U of Iowa) </p>

<p>I took the AP Tests for my junior classes, and got 4-5 on all.
Can't say I had a great Freshman year, but It shouldn't hold me back.
IF YOU WERE TO TAKE OUT 9TH GRADE, MY GPA WOULD BE 3.8
Freshman - 2.8
Sophomore - 3.7
Junior - 4.0
1st Sem of Senior - 4.0</p>

<p>My Essay was awesome, and I met my admissions counselor over the phone several times, and I think she likes me and wants me to get in.</p>

as you know, if your gpa was a little higher it'd be a pretty sure bet

It took about two months, and I'm OOS, so it was normal.

LOL and my stats weren't great, they were just typical, maybe even a tiny bit low.
Vvvaappp, when did you apply? And have you heard back? If you're IS, they are running slow. If you applied before 11-3, I actually feel kind of bad...</p>
