I know that Washu is a huge reach for me but I appreciate your input as it is my top choice. Thanks!

You're self assessment is accurate. Your stats are around the average for kids who apply to Wash U. Figure you have about an average chance - 20%. In short, a pretty big reach.

Thanks, I appreciate your input. I forgot to add:

I have a great essay according to english teachers in the school who want to use it as an example for later years.

Though I was unable to read my recommendations, my counselor was very impressed... both of the recommendations were all "one of the best I've ever had." I'm also very close to my guidance counselor and I'm sure her recommendation was far from generic.

Additionally, I'm applying to Lehigh, BC, NYU, Cornell, GW, Johns Hopkins, Columbia Engineering (legacy) as well. Any input with regard to these schools?

Thanks for everything!

Good chances at Lehigh, BC, NYU, and GW.

Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and Columbia are all reaches. Of the three, Hopkins is the most likely, though you probably have at best a 25% chance there.
