<p>hii i am too nervous until tomorrow and i am really praying i get into duke. it is my dream school and i want it so badly... =[ so i am very very nervous and dont know what to do with myself</p>

<p>stats:
White Male from PA suburbs Sorta Competitive High School
Rank: 24/500+
GPA: 4.27 out of 4.33 UW and 4.87 out of 6 W (don't ask =p)
AP: European History 4, Calculus AB 4 (taking 5 this year)
Essays were good I guess and so were recommendations (can't really judge)
Interview was from a parent of a Duke and Harvard Student from my high school who LOVED me..(which I know, won't help much)</p>

<p>SAT: 730 M, 700 CR, 690:12 W (1430/2170 ouch =[)
SATII: Spanish w/ Listening 620, US History 640 (double-ouch)</p>

<p>Senior Courseload (Most intense in history of high school)
AP Psychology, AP Biology, AP English Language, AP U.S. Government, AP Spanish Language, 1 elective (Digital Photo/Weightlifting)</p>

<p>E.C.'s:
Film Club (4 years, president, head writer/director, involved in many projects and competitions)
Key Club (4 years, dozens of service projects)
Academic Team (4 years, captain/president, coordinate tournament for 3 years now)
Spanish Club (3 years)</p>

<p>Work 25+ Part Time for 3.5 years</p>

<p>Sports:
Cross Country (3 years varsity, Captain, Honorable Mention 2x, Almost made states =[)
Swimming ( 4 years varsity, Captain, Most Improved Award, Spirit Award)
Track (2 years varsity)</p>

<p>Thanks, I know I am not an extremely qualified candidate or even a great one. but I think i can add a lot to Duke with my enthusiasm and I would be so thankful to get in.</p>

<p>To be perfectly honest here, and this is totally my opinion...</p>

<p>I think it's a reach. Your rank, while definately good, isn't spectacular. Same for your scores. We're in the same boat when it comes to scores...my SATI was a 2180. </p>

<p>Your strong points are definately your ECs...I'm liking all of those varsity sports! </p>

<p>Best of luck to you, because I'm in an almost identical boat!</p>
