Should I take the SAT a third time? does USC average out the scores or still take the best??

(Confusing post: 4 year varsity. I'm going to assume you are a junior and will apply for 2009.)

This is a really tough time to do a chances thread. Seniors are waiting for their decisions and that is consuming the boards right now. Take a look at this thread to see what stats are getting in this year-
<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/454785-stats-only-usc-official-decisions-fall-2008-a.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/454785-stats-only-usc-official-decisions-fall-2008-a.html</a></p>

USC superscores the SAT but not the ACT. This means they will take the best scores for individual sections from all sittings. It wouldn't hurt to take it again because you have plenty of time and it could definitely make the difference.

Persian Muslim is not a URM and will probably not make a difference unless you have some great experience you are able to use in your essays.

Good luck!
