Chance me please

So its the end of junior year and I have figured out the stats with which I will be applying to UC BERKELEY and UCLA

GPA(U) 3.98
GPA (W) 4.08
UC GPA 4.08

Class Rank 6/433

SAT/II 700M 690W 610CR (2000) 720Math2 730Bio 650Chem

Took AP English Lang, Bio, and Calculus AB junior year.

ECs/Awards
40+ hrs community service
Tons of math tutoring hours
National Honor Society
Sports: Tennis (9,10,11) Swim (9) Soccer (10) Letter in Tennis
Honor Roll --does this even mean anything?

My essays are probably midrange.

I have a hunch that my stats are pretty good, but I have a better chance if I can write an superb essay.

What are you guys' thoughts? What are my chances?

you’ll get in, at least it appears so, i have cousins that got in with stats similar or if anything worse than that of yours overall GPA is nice extra currics seem pretty good the only thing that may be keeping you out is your SAT score…

I might also be applying to some higher ranked colleges:
Duke,
Northwestern,
University of Chicago,
Johns Hopkins

Do I have even a slight chance at these colleges?

urgh, i dont wanna let you down… but i really dont know… thats a tough call

I know of friends who got into UCLA and Berk w/ lower stats so you should be fine, but it’s a crapshoot.

I don’t think your stats are good enough for Duke, Northwestern, UChicago, and Johns Hopkins, but they would be reaches for you instead.

if you live in CA and you can get your SAT up to a 2100+ I’d say Berkeley is your safe school :)
