<p>Also, while your ability to thrive in a school that speaks a different language (I wouldn't be able to!) is very impressive, Dartmouth IS an English-speaking school. Therefore, they need to be confident that you can handle the work (in English).</p>

<p>You might want to call the admissions office and ask about the advisability of taking the TOEFL, given that you have been--I assume--attending an English-speaking school for only three years.</p>
