Chance me please :)

As the time is getting closer, I am being more anxious :( The main reason is probably because I leave all my tests to my senior year. I really appreciate any input in here!

I transferred from school in China to US high school in my junior year. So I got a little behind in everything and obviously I am not a good test taker...

Shanghai YMCA leader

Work for both Hillary Clinton & John McCain's main campaign office

will work for a state attorney running for congressman this coming fall

p.s. is it weird to see an international to get involved so much in US politics?

Recommendation letters:
I'm going to ask my International Politics teacher to write me one and my math teacher for another.Additionally the congressman whom I worked for this summer will write me one and a member of board of trustee in Georgetown, whose also the alum from SFS will write me one too. I dont know if there's any limitation for rec letters.

essay:

As I mentioned above I am the founder and leader of the darfur genocide intervention foundation chapter in china, I personally suffered a lot of harshness and pressure from government for holding a pannel and gathering members. So I'm thinking of choosing my SFS essay topic as the analysis of darfur genocide. I don't know if it's good to write the same thing again in my personal essay, like introducing my passion for helping out despite of the pressure.

I am getting dreadfully anxious these days since I am still struggling with all the standardized tests while others have already begun application process. I hope we all can help each other go through this period of time and finally get in whichever college you wish to go!=) Again I really appreciate all the inputs in here :)

You definitely have a really good shot, try getting 750+ on ur SAT IIs since Georgetown places a lot of emphasis on them. The rest looks pretty solid.

thank you so much for you encouraging comments Osap!!!

Just out of curiosity, why did you volunteer w/ both McCain and Clinton's campaign?

To Butternut: As for foreigners who don't have rights to vote, we are more like outsiders, observers when comes up the US presidential election. The reason for volunteering both of the campaings is because I want to experience more rather than endorsing any candidate.

wow, you found a chapter of STAND in China? That's a demonstration of courage! Ain't you afraid of commies coming to your house and arrest you?

To Pharmakeus01: yeah that is really risky. But our mission is just to educate students in china about the fact, the genocide that is now going on in Darfur. Due to the limited access to news, a lot of people don't even know a thing about Darfur genocide. So we signed promise letters telling government that we are not going to be biased before the panel.
