chance me please?

<p>I am a junior in HS... fairly small, jesuit, college prep school, </p>

<p>applying to CA&S</p>

<p>-SAT: 2120 total, 660 math, 760 CR, 700 writing
-ACT: 31 composite, 34 english, 25 math, 35 reading, 30 science (planned retake)
-GPA: 3.6
-APs (by end of senior year): AP lang& comp, APUSH, AP stats, AP bio
-dont know my rank.</p>

<p>ECs:
-varsity state championship swim team
-Outward Bound course for 8 days in the Blue Ridge Mtns this summer
-Volunteer for local homeless shelter
-Member of Operation Others, a local organization that hands out food on thanksgiving to poor.
-Academic Decathlon
-Several volunteer overnight or single day retreats
-Harvard Model Congress trip to Boston
-Member of local church youth group
-Young Democrats core member</p>

<p>You should be fine.</p>

<p>scholarships from NYU are generally need-based. your academics look fine for them although I would prefer a higher GPA and much higher test scores.</p>

<p>That person is wrong. A 2120 is more than fine for NYU.</p>

<p>the math score is a bit low. i would prefer 700+. it’s only average for NYU but a higher one will greatly increase the chances.</p>
