Additional Credits/Info Regarding grades:
Algebra I, took in 8th grade…HS counted it as a math Credit
Health and PE…HS counted as 1 credit, took these online over 9th grade summer. I was only on Spanish 1 freshman year because before I went to HS I was studying hebrew (current HS, doesn’t offer hebrew). Total of 8 years of hebrew. Almost fluent. I am considering self-studying for the AP Econ exam, and I might take the AP Human Geography exam. I would expect a 3 or so on the Econ, and a 3-4 on Geo.

AP Exam Grades:
So far all 4’s, except AP US, which was a 5.

EC:
- Debate has been my main EC, I was novice freshman year. JV for the first half of my sophmore year and then Varsity the second half (and have been varsity since). I was captain of the JV team in 10th grade. And I have been captain of the whole debate team since 11th grade. I have won various speaker awards, tournaments, etc. I’ve been to debate camp since my 9th grade summer. School budget is weak for debate, so my team went to almost every in-state tournament, but no out of state. I ended up coaching most of the team (with the exception of the people on my level), since we didn’t have a debate coach.
- Started a political discussion club. Not much to say here, pretty self-explanatory.
- Habitat for Humanity…debate took up so much time so I have been just a member.

Athletics
- Since 8th grade I have been a pretty competitive cyclist. Competed in some races in 9th grade year. Joined a well-sponsored team in 10th grade (which I am still on). And have been competing in regional events ever since. I ride over 100 miles a week and at least 5 days a week.
- I also participate in some local triathlons as well as charity rides (i.e ms 150).

Community Service:
- Started a website for two non-profit organizations.
- Over 350 hours at the legal aid society.
- Various homeless food drives.
- Built a playground that was destroyed by hezbollah rockets in Israel (part of a 2 week trip).

Work:
- Ive been working at law firms since 8th grade year. Each summer I chose a different field of law to work in. My first summer I worked in foreclosures law, second summer was insurance litigation, third summer was corporate law, and fourth summer was a legal aid society. Also during my 11th grade year I worked for a law firm with over 600 attorneys as part of an internship. I also completed 40 classroom hours over the summer (the summer before 9th grade year started) at Emory Law school.

Summing it all up:
As you can see I am very interested in political science/law. Therefore, I didn’t join 10,000 clubs in high school. Instead I joined 3, and focused heavily on 2 (don’t know if colleges want to see more) as well as being an avid cyclist (which seems quite unique to me, at least). I am the type of person that will do the least amount of work to get the maximum amount of output (obviously I won’t tell colleges this, but that explains my gpa). I’ve never spent more than an hour and a half on homework per day in my high school career. While I didn’t get a 4.0 (unweighted), I was able to mantain A’s and B’s (with the exception of one C).

College:
Money isn’t too much of an issue, so I am probably going to be applying to a bunch of schools. But some that I am interested in are.

Michigan

UVA

U of Chicago

George Washington

Gtown

IU (grandparents, both, got their PHD from there)

Wisconsin

NYU (grandfather went there)

NYU and Mich are my ultimate choices. But I am also going to apply to some lower ivies just for the hell of it (i know i have 0 chances, but what’s there to loose?)

Thanks!!
Is there anything else I should mention to help you better chance me?
