<p>although my composite SAt was virtually identical to yours, admissions are getting more and more comeptitive each year, so i recommend that you write a personal statemtne that really makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd.</p>

<p>also, if you have another more meaningful awards than elc i would list that instead b/c they can see elc status from your id number itself.</p>

<p>and thats pretty cool that you TA'd for a college prof as a HS student...that would be unique stance for an essay...maybe talk about how ta-ing for the prof exposed you to college learning early on and brought about a passion in learning...also, if you have other ecs try to list the ones that most reflect who you are as a person and your goals...not just a random laundry list of clubs/positions...good luck...i know how antsy you must be rihgt now...i remmebr how anxious i was for it to be march after i submitted my app in mid november lol...dont worry though, if your class is anything like mine last year, cc will come up with some pretty crazy threads to fill the looooooong stretch of time in between :)</p>
