<p>GT is my top pick...but I think i'm at the bottom of the applicant pool.</p>

<p>-3.92 weighted GPA (on GT's scale)
-SAT: 550 CR, 690 M...really bad, i know..and 800 on W but no one considers writing.
-ACT: 29 Composite; 33 math; 29 english
-Leadership: treasurer of nat'l english honor society (nehs)
historian of nat'l science honor society (nshs)
events corordinator of math team
captain of science olympiad
captain of varsity cheer squad
-Athletics: varsity letters in swim and dive team (in 9th), cheerleading (10th), and tennis (9th).
-ECs: nehs, nshs, nat'l honor society, math team, and science olympiad
-Awards: ap scholar award, outstanding honors precal student, outstanding honors chem student, honor roll all four years, 2nd and 3rd place regional herpetology awards.
-gender: female
-potential major: biology
-total # of ap courses by the end of sr year: 9 (ap lit, lang, us hist, world hist, bc calc, bio, physics b, chem, and psych)
-class rank: top 10% (43 of 448)
-live in ga...so in-state
-service: i lack at this...mostly just tutoring and typical service opportunities; church-youth group leader
-legacy at GT
-only had one job: swim instructor :/ over the summer and lifeguard beforehand.</p>

<p>Georgia Tech right ?, the GPA looks good. CR is lacking a bit, but since your a female and GT is 68% Male , I think this will help improve your chances a lot. Your EC’s are good as well. I would think you have a good chance. How is your essay ?</p>

<p>You have a good chance. Not a sure thing by any means. Some higher scores could make it automatic, but I think you have a great shot overall! good luck.</p>

<p>The female thing will definitely help you, and your EC’s are pretty good, so I think you have a good shot. If you can, try taking the Sats again to make it a guarantee.</p>

<p>oh yeah, your in for sure. you have great test score, an excellent GPA, and a great list of activities. your a well-rounded student, something Tech is looking at considering everyone at tech is a good student and test taker.</p>
