Chance me... please!

<p>I applied ED to CAS but want to know if I should keep my hopes up for admission or not.</p>

<p>White female, New York</p>

<p>Rank: 18/520 ( some what competitive school, sends about 10 students to ivies each year)
GPA-4.75
Rigorous course schedule: All honors classes and AP classes</p>

<p>AP World History -4
AP United States History-4
AP English Language-4
AP US Gov
AP Bio
AP Calc BC, but had to switch to AB ( will this be frowned upon?)
AP Spanish Language
AP English Lit</p>

<p>SAT I Super Score:2070
V:730 M:650 W:690</p>

<p>SAT IIs :(
Bio: 640 World : 600</p>

<p>I took the Oct ACTs in an attempt to make up for the SAT IIs, but my score has yet to be released. I dont know how this will affect me if they are released too late. Help?</p>

<p>3 year science research class- conducted original scientific experiment, submitted paper for the Intel Science talent Competition</p>

<p>Extracurricular:</p>

<p>4 year varsity lacrosse player, received a bunch of local awards ( MVP, best defensive, all league, "tenacious tiger," three time Scholar athlete, captain)
2 year varsity field hockey, ( MVP, best defensive player, two time all league, two year scholar athlete, captain)
Mock Trial Team- 3 years- witness, secretary of club
Spanish Club- 3 years- secretary, Co-President
Model UN-2 years- founding member, G.O rep, secretary
Science Research Club- 3 years- secretary, President have also competed in local science competitions and received 1st place
General Organization ( school gov)- 4 years
NYS Youth and Government- 3 years- Legislative Branch
National Honor Society- 2 years- Vice president</p>

<p>My essay and supplements were fine (I hope) and i got good recs. However, I dont know about my sats ( especially SAT IIs) and how the ACT will affect me because I am relying on it so much. Any advice</p>

<p>Wait. Chancing anyone is really pointless. I don't make decisions. </p>

<p>I mean you have a shot. But no one is every guaranteed Ivy league schools.</p>

<p>We all have to play the waiting game now...no point asking for chances b/c it won't change the outcome...:(</p>

<p>to update this thread, i got accepted to UPenn CAS. it just goes to show you that amazing SAT scores are not as important as they seem. good luck to everyone and i hope i have shown you that numbers aren't everything.</p>
