recommendations:
i think it'll be alright i'm planning on getting them from my math teacher and counselor

if you could give suggestions or comments I'd be thankful

I can't believe I left this out...

my GPA: 4.12 weighted

I'm also taking AP Spanish next year...

I'm not sure about rank...

I've also won a reading contest at my school if it counts.

I've also taken as many honors classes as I possibly could at my school

I would kinda shocked if you didnt get in.

what is it unweighted? make sure you check what school you're applying to because i got into Gallatin with a 3.2 GPA, 31 ACT, and 7 AP's by the end of this year. work on the common app essay over the summer. i think they released the questions in july or something. my essay was the most amazing thing i have ever written and my recs were awesome.

you can probably get into sterns with what you have no problem.

i concur with kanjisasahara.
you can most likely get into stern with those stats.
i got into stern with lower stats than you a little above 2000 SATS,
30 ACT, and 10 AP's by the end of the year.
but my unweighted gpa was high, so let us know
what it is. if it's within the 3.8-4.0 range you should
be absolutely fine.

but do not forget to write some kick ass essays & personal statements.
& be positive you really know your teachers you're getting recs from.
they do put a lot of weight on them for i believe that's why i was accepted.

it's all in the essay!
write an amazing essay... get it revised by people who know what they're talking about.
the more revisions, the better.
gl!

I'm not really sure what my unweighted GPA is...my school has this weird number system for calculating GPAs... but I think that it is definitely over 3.80.
Thank you very much for your comments!
I think I'll get working on my essays soon.
:)

since there is the "other" choice for the personal essay try and be creative. i know all the admissions officers that ive talked to really enjoy reading off the wall essays. mine was about this one day i was sitting in a bucket of a sailing boat. try and read some books about personal essays. it can give you ideas.

are you serious about 16 AP courses? thats a little ridiculous i'd have to say. good luck with that because even the smartest people find 5 ap courses a lot and courses like chemistry and biology are no joke.
