<p>Hi, I'm an asian (i know it doesn't matter) kid from chicago hoping to get into engineering. I applied for summer as well. only thing is, i didnt do the essay, which was a very stupid move on my part. here are some of my stats:</p>

28/29 superscored act
1790 sat
excellent EC's and athletics</p>

<p>ACTs are never superscored, unlike SATs. Also, for Penn State, your weighted GPA is all that counts. I believe you should be fine, but what is your math SAT? Considering you are going for engineering, this may come to be significant.</p>
<p>my math sat was a 680, and reading was either a 610/600, and writing is either 500/510, couldnt remember which test had the last 10 pts.</p>

<p>You’re in. I got accepted 2 years ago into Engineering with similar stats (a little bit lower): 4.0w and 1660.</p>

I put down Summer, but they accepted me for the Fall (in November). I heard a lot of good things about Summer session, so I emailed them around February to start in the Summer. Basically, I got accepted for Fall with my stats but I started in Summer volunteerily.</p>
