-- Based on the Majors and the information, do you guys have any recommendations for schools to apply to?

------------Desired Majors--------------
Psychology
Pre-Med

Pre-Law

I'm Brazlian, Male, born there in Rio, and first of my family to attend college, first generation in U.S. Not exactly sure how that ethnicity would help or not help, but it IS a factor. I currently live in Arizona.

Then:
4.0 Unweighted GPA, 4.7 Weighted

2040 SATs, 1390/1600 Reading + Math
--- 710 Critical Reading
--- 680 Math
--- 650 Writing

ACT Score - 29 (disappointed), for which my highest was a 32 in Reading, 28 in Math

4th out of 768 in Senior Class

Took second place in a Spanish Language Competition, once in 8th grade, the other in 10th in the "native speaker" category. (Spanish is not the native language of Brazil)

Now, I'm not exactly sure how this website is run, but the community seemed friendly, so I decided to join in. If anyone wants a chancing, or advice on any aspect that I'd be able to help with, please just ask!

Thanks a bunch!

Welcome to CC! Your scores are a little low for Harvard and Brown, but you have a great shot at the others. Do you have any leadership?

youre best bets are NYU, Miami, dallas and Michigan, not quite perfect enough for Harvard, Brown, Stanford etc., but dont go to NAU, i live in flagstaff and its a horrible town and NAU is a crappy university. ASU isnt bad persay, but the freshman classes can have up to 1000 people in them(no typo), and it gets up to the 120s every summer.

Huh. Thanks guys. And to answer your question cinnamon, I do have an OK amount of leadership - captain of lacrosse and I've started multiple clubs at my school.

I've got an interview for Harvard this coming saturday so we'll see how that goes eh?

and is that NAU town that bad? I've actually heard good things about it. what dont you like about it morgan?

I would have to say that you can get into everything EXCEPT for Harvard. Harvard = rediculous =)

Haha thanks - I was actually under the impression that Stanford would be harder to get into than harvard. anyone get accepted or have any insight into that?
