...
please??

You are fine. Fine, fine, fine.
I would say you are a shoo-in to everywhere but UCLA and USC, but since you are a CA resident with really good stats, I wouldn't worry.
Retake the SAT, and if you get over 2200, don't worry about USC.

cool! thanks :)
I took the march one, so hopefully its higher, but if not then I'm gonna take it again in October after studying my butt off over summer :)

bumppp...

I'll chance you guys back!

Does anybody know of any universities with a strong biology/premed backgrounds that are within my reach? They could be out of state (I live in california)

I'm trying to lengthen my college list and "expand my possibilities"

lol

You know what's funny, in my chance post, I "stole" your format. Sorry! ;] Thanks for chancing me. Here's yours:

I did a quick search for the UC GPA Calculator and came up short. I remember finding it on the UC website and calculating it from there, but I couldn't find it again!

Your classes look good, just realize Leadership and PE do not count as UC A-G, so your GPA experiences a little dip. A higher GPA is better for your chances, as UCLA's average admitted GPA is 4.3, so this is your last chance to make an impact on that. Your SATs are pretty good too, but as you know, the higher the better! I believe their average is around the 2,000 mark, so more preparing goes a long way. Your Extra-Curriculars are good too, I know they like seeing leadership stuff on an application.

I don't know much about Biology major, but a relative of mine recently told me that it's an extremely competitive major, more so than Political Science.

My guesses:

UCLA - Slight reach.
UCSD - Good chance.
Davis - Great chance.
Irvine - Great chance.
USC - A reach only because they emphasize more on the academics, as far as I know, but seeing as how I only applied to CSUs and UCs...

Keep in mind I'm being fairly hypocritical here; my application grades and SATs are lower than yours ;] good luck! I'm glad you're looking ahead and preparing for college already..I didn't even think about it until this year.

haha!!

don't worry, I did the same thing too. I went around to a couple of other people's and mixed and matched their formats to make mine :D

Thanks for all the tips!!!!! and good luck to you too!

so far, only two legit chances... :(

please guys, help me out here!!

please chance me for UC's (LA, SD, Davis, I), USC, and any other good universites that you know of that are within my reach. I would like to major in biology.

Thanks!!

bumpbumpbumpbump

Get your SAT score up, then you will probably get into all those colleges, imo.

I know this gets annoying but please help and chance me. Not only for those UCs and for USC but also for others with a good biology undergrad program that you think might be within my reach. Please. :D

thanks!
