Whoo... sorry that was a lot but I'm nervous out of my mind... Thanks!

Georgetown- in and I’m also going to say Dartmouth
everywhere else you have a really good chance but I can’t say “in” just because of the selectivity

I should add that you may want to retake the SAT in order to get a higher math score. Granted, your total score is very good, but there is a psychological benefit to having at least a 700 in everything. It’d be a shame if 2-3 questions on the math portion tipped the mind of any admissions officer.

Calm Down – you still have 6 months before you apply early (if you choose to), and 7.5 for normal applications. Stressing out won’t help you, unless you have a psychological breakdown and an epiphany to write about in one of your essays.

Consider re-taking the SAT – I agree with silverturtle. It will help take off some of the stress (hopefully)

SAT IIs – Have you taken any SAT IIs yet? If you haven’t signed up for the ones in June, schedule them sometime early in the fall, so you have ample time for re-takes.

You should be totally fine, so stop worrying. And if you don’t get into your top choice, it shouldn’t make any difference. You’ll get into an amazing school, and you’ll get just as good an education. Good Luck!

dude u definitely look like the prospective student for Yale…
my dad’s friends son got into Yale and he had similar stats
if you wanted I could talk to him and ask him to tell u more bout his stats through college confidential?
but im pretty sure Yale is attainable

That would be awesome. Could he do this on this thread because I cannot work the PM thing to save my life. Hah notice none of the AP’s are in computer science…

:O.
South Carolina? Another one? OSHT. Where do you go to school? JW.

As per your chances, I think you stand a decent chance at Georgetown. Brown is kinda reachy, and Yale is a high reach (for everyone >_>).
Not quite sure about Amherst.

The work will be pretty beneficial. What are you planning to major in? I see a lot of writing type awards, and that will work out well if you want to major in that direction.

Yeah I love to write but I don’t know if I’ll choose to major in creative writing or if I’ll pursue a more “realistic” major in college, on apps I’ll probably put international relations. I hope that my Spanish stuff and Youth in Govenment will substantiate that.
