let me know PLEASE

I would think you would have an excellent chance as long as your SATs are decent. If you don’t mind me asking though, what do you plan on studying? Your resume seems very arts-focused, and arts aren’t exactly GWs strong suit.

Arts may not be GW’s strong suit, but there is a very excellent theater and dance program there. In fact because there not that many students involved, the opportunities for those who are or want to be are excellent.

What are your test scores? And do a lot of people from your school apply?

surprisingly, I love the arts and have been passionate for them FOREVER but I plan on majoring in political science. Getting a law degree and hopefully running for legislature.

I have not taken my SATS.
however, I have been doing SAT/ACT prep everyday:)

My school is completely focused on the UC california system.
really lame.
Almost every student applies to california schools, and none to ivy leagues or schools outside of CA.
so, I’m guessing no.

Ok, I was just wondering. Really I don’t normally “chance” people because I’m not an admissions officer and I haven’t done the college search thing in years, but I would say if you have good essays and scores, you’re in. The UC thing doesn’t matter; almost everyone who went to college from my high school went to a state school, but I still got in. Also, if you do plan on staying involved in the arts in college (you don’t have to major in it, just participate), it sounds like you have a great shot at the Presidential Arts Scholarship.

Its harder to get into GWU if there are more students from your school applying. Like 10% of my senior class applies there and even though my test scores were above the middle 50% and I was a recruited athlete but the admissions officer told the coach that I should still consider ED to be completely safe since so many people from my school apply.
