Chance me please

So I just realized that this time next year I will be off to college! My parents have always told me I have to go to a CC, but I have showed them I am responsible in the last few months and they are willing to reconsider.
I'm interested in SoCal schools..I live in NorCal.

Top schools:
1. Pepperdine
2. Chapman
3. Point Loma
4. San Diego State
5. Vanguard

I especially want to be chanced on San Diego State, because I am not sure if I can afford the others. Pepperdine, Chapman, and Point Loma are reaches I know..please chance me!!!
I don't live in San Diego though so SDSU will be harder to get into..

Stats:

Freshman Year - (1) 3.43; (2) 3.29
Sophomore Year - (1) 3.43; (2) 3.57
Junior Year - (1) 3.67; (2) 3.83
Hopefully 4.0's senior year
= 3.65 Overall GPA

Rank: 26/72

No Ap's. Only one english honors freshman year
No pre-cal or chemistry. Very bad..
No subject tests

Haven't taken SATS but pretests show I will get about 1800-2000ish

EC's (Grade in parenthesis):
Class Historian (9), Prom Committee (10-11), ASB Pep Rally Coordinator (11), ASB Entertainment (12), Drama Club: All 8 productions during my HS (9-12), National Honor Society (10-12), Ski & Snowboard Club (10), Superfranks job (March 10- October 11 2008), Tiffane’s Cupcake shop (October 11 - now) Research assistant for Larry Norman Biography (March 11 - now) , Volunteering at church and pregnancy resource center

Let me know if you need anything else

THANKS!

Pepperdine seems to like to see lots of Church/Religious activites. Make sure to emphasize that on your app. Best of Luck to You! Oh and if theres any chance you can do AP classes senior year, do it! It will look good.

Okay good. I volunteer at my church and am in leadership at my christian school. I’m also in the worship band. Hopefully that will help! It’s too late for me to take any ap’s unfortunately. I’m just going to have to pray everything works out. Pepperdine might be too expensive anyway. Thanks for your help!

I think your chances are pretty good. Your weakest point is no AP classes, but strong SATs and everything else should suffice. I got into Pepperdine with a 3.6, 5 APs, 1770 SAT- but I had a few different top leadership positions in clubs and a 4.5 first semester senior year. Work on having a high senior GPA and a leadership position next year, and of course, kill the SAT :]

You should get into Point Loma and Vanguard, in my opinion.
Chapman may be a bit of a reach, make sure you get high SAT scores.
SDSU should be a match, but they give priority to qualified San Diego residents.

Yea that’s what I’m worried about with SDSU. I appreciate your feedback…hopefully I get into Pepperdine, Point Loma, or SDSU. Those seem like they’ll be the best matches for me.
