I haven't done alot of research into colleges but some friends have made some suggestions and ive look around a little on CC and heres what I have

Harvard (My dream school)
Duke
UCLA
Northwestern

I need to expand my list in places and maybe narrow it in others

My back up is A&M- College Station

Any Colleges for me suggestions would be great-
Don't care about size or place

Hmmm, you would probably need at least a 34 on the ACT to even be considered at Harvard and a 33 for the other three schools on your list. I would have to say you probably have the best chance at getting into Northwestern. UCLA will be tough b/c you are out of state and for Duke you would need higher test scores. SAT IIs should fall in the 750 + range (if you seriously want to get into Harvard). Good Luck!

I honestly do not think you are a sure thing at any of the schools on your list.

I would apply to some safeties considering that a 30 isn’t that high for top tier schools.

I have safeties (in Texas, the whole 10% in thing)…

Thanks, I know I need to retake the ACT (I took the SAT in June too but I really can’t predict my score, but hopefully its high)… I should be able to get 750+ on SAT IIs im studying all summer for them and if all else fails I can still take them in November

I’m taking the ACT again in September (unless my prediction is way lower than my actually score) and once I get my score I am gonna study for the rest of the summer also

Anyone have any comments about my app that isn’t about test scores?

bump…

write a good essay about your debating. your ECs arent stellar… which is why everyone is talking about your scores. your ECs are good enough… but your test scores are currently your biggest obstacle. also, your GPA should be converted to 4.0-pt. scales for the purpose of everyone understanding them… i dont know if thats good or bad to be honest. 3.7 WGPA isnt too great…
expand your list to some schools that are easier to get into…
