Chance me please?

I posted in this forum a while ago to ask about the UVA german department. I'll tell you about myself again though :) I've graduated a year early to spend 9 months in Germany studying the language (it's my passion). Anyways, please chance me!

SAT I: 1930 (M:650| CR:650| W:630)
ACT: 28
GPA: 4.0

I don't have any APs because my school doesn't offer them. Is that really bad? I have taken calculus though.

ECs (both of these were at my public school, my private doesn't offer clubs):
Spanish Honors Society
Interact Club

Random:
studied abroad in Spain for a summer
Dr. Bear's Ambassador (volunteer for 70+ hours) @ Children's Hospital
i play the ocarina (ha ha)
I've had two poems published in a poetry magazine

my brother goes to UVA, but I don't think that really matters. I'm in-state. Tell me what you think. Thanks!

It’s always easier to get in for in-state students, your SAT’s are a bit low but I think since you speak 3? languages and have relatives that attend UVA, they might take all that into consideration, as an in-state student you definitely have a chance to get accepted but it should be tough

Yeah I speak 3. I love languages! (btw, i like russian too) thanks for your opinion! I definitely know it’s not easy to get in =(

Go for it, the languages thing is huge as is having that gap time to explore some new interest. They don’t take off for not being able to take AP’s since your school didn’t have them.
