schools planning on applying to:
Cornell, uPenn, duke, john hopkins, Caltech, MIT (don't even know why...), and Carniege Mellon

don't have legacies to any....

do i even have a chance or is it even worth applying?? do you guys have any other recomendations for colleges strong in my major??

thanks soooo much in advance =)

You need to put more information on things like ECs and Awards for anyone to give you an accurate opinion.

As said above, its really hard to gauge without EC’s, etc. Your test scores/gpa look par with most fot he schools.
MIT, uPenn, and CalTech will all be high reaches, no matter how good your ECs are. The others would be hard to say without them.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/741546-johns-hopkins-ea-brown-will-chance-back.html

CMU-def in
and the rest are super reaches…for everyone…

please get some safeties…Pitt has a great bio program, is right by CMU(they even share classes sometimes) and is like half the price

I’d take a looksee there

also, how do i leave links to my thread in a post?

thanks

chance me please…PROMISE TO CHANCE BACK!!!

ALSO, how do i post links to threadsss???

just copy and paste the url and it automatically links it. or at least thats what i do. As for your chances, i think that as it stands you are a match at CMU, but the other schools seem to be reaches. Cornell/Duke are a low reach while Penn, JHU, Caltech and MIT are reaches. Nothing wrong with that they are just reaches for everyone. Maybe bump the sat or something but they really are reaches regardless unless 2400 + awesome ECs and all that stuff. You are definitely a competitive candidate though. Good luck.

could you chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/739446-chances-colgate-nd-bc.html
