Looking to major in engineering.

I am wondering how anyone gets a weighted 4.9 GPA??
I have taken nothing but honors classes and AP classes my freshman and sophomore year, two AP’s in 9th grade and four AP’s in 10th grade, and I have made A’s in all of my classes. How would I calculate my weighted GPA?

Btw college00, you should have a great chance! Good Luck! :)

Wow, how do you have a 4.9 (I’m assuming you mean cumulative and not just for this year?) and be only in the top 4%?

Pranam0, if you got As in all honors and APs, then you have a 5.0

Non-weighted A= 4
Weighted A= 5

Non-weighted B=3
Weighted B= 4

I think you have an excellent chance. 50% or higher.

might want to make sure you don’t swear in your essays ahaha.

^^^ lol was gonna say the exact same thing :P
