You seem to have a solid chance–remember that it’s never a sure thing for schools like Stanford. Those internships seem to be your key of getting in–write an amazing essay on those and hope for the best!

Good luck : )

nice job! stats look awesome. But remember one thing. For schools like Stanford, you need something that stands out. I like the internship and Grameen Bank thing. Is there anything else you can do to make you stand out even more? I didn’t mean that to be rude or anything. Also nice SAT’s. What book or courses did you use for the preparation for the SAT’s?

hey there. I’m a South Asian American too, and you’re in luck- I went to High school in Bangladesh. What’s more? I’ve done the internship at Grameen Bank and a lot of my friends have done it at Brac and Brac Bank. The thing about these internships- as I’m sure you know- aren’t really that spectacular when it comes to learning stuff. But it’s still very difficult for some to get into these institutions so I strongly suggest that you write them down in your application in a way that impresses. Write down that Grameen bank is a nobel peace-prize winner and that brac bank is currently the most progressive bangladeshi bank.

Also, write stellar essays. You’re an academically-outstanding candidate and you’ve done some pretty decent EC work. What’s left is the crux of your application: showing that you’re a great person to seal the deal with.

Good luck!
