Argh. Another stereotypical asian with family/financial problems ;__;

bumpity bump bump?

I’m sorta worried about my lack of EC’s, since I lost most of them after my parents got a divorce and my mom couldn’t afford the time or money sending me to violin, etc. If I told the colleges about that, would it help me?

ouch, asian male in california without usamo.

Your scores/academics are decent.
Course rigor is terrible.

Decent ECs.

Stereotypical. Sucks for you.

Get something decent, and then come back.

HOWEVER. I highly suggest doing something amazing humanities wise.

Show intense humanities passion (if you are into it), and write some amazing essays.

Otherwise, you’re pretty much screwed.

9 AP courses is a terrible course rigor?

lacto- don’t mind advanced lawlz. he’s a ■■■■■■. and a ■■■■■.

as for your chances, you’ve done everything you can at this point. you’re an extremely strong applicant, so be proud or that. just be mindful that the schools you are applying to are an INSANE and aren’t easily predictable.

also, with the look of your application it is obvious that you’re extraordinarily intelligent and assiduous with your studies. with those qualities you’ll do well anywhere. remember that and be sure not to take any of this process too seriously.

You have good stats, especially if by top 10% you mean close to the very top, but you need a safety.

bump i’d kinda want some more opinions, but thanks to everyone who’s responded so far
