Schools I plan to apply to:
Swartmore (first choice atm)
Amherst
Penn
Vanderbilt
Duke
Case
Delaware
Pitt
Rice
Boston
USC
Tufts
WashU
HPY

Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks!!

You look pretty solid. Your scores are low for the majority of the schools on your list…so I would definitely consider raising them and retaking some of your SATII tests. Maybe try the ACT as well? Your ECs and grades are great, though.

Swartmore (first choice atm) - reach
Amherst - reach
Penn - reach
Vanderbilt - reach
Duke - reach
Case - ?
Delaware - safety
Pitt - safety
Rice - match
Boston - BU or BC? (safety/match respectivley)
USC - match
Tufts - match
WashU - reach
HPY - reach

I’d have to say even USC, Rice, Tufts, BC are significant reaches with current scores.

HYP would not be worth the effort without much higher scores and are unlikely even then with ECs.

Coming from NJ, you are in a very competitive pool and most all of these schools.

^^ true HYP is not worth the effort, but USC and BC are definitely not reaches with your GPA/Rank/Scores. Rice and Tufts are reaches.

Swartmore - Reach
Amherst - Reach
Penn - High Reach
Vanderbilt - Reach
Duke - High Reach
Case - Match
Delaware - Match
Pitt - Safety
Rice - Match
Boston - Reach
USC - Reach
Tufts - Match
WashU - Match
HPY - Very high reach

if i ED at swarthmore do you think there is a decent chance i would get in? (i have visited 3 times and went to an invitation day there)

ED does not mean they let in students with lower stats than they would RD. The admit percentage looks much higher because of all the hooked candidates who apply in that round.
