Chance ME!! ... please :)

I'm looking to transfer. Main reason is location. Right now, I'm at Augustana College in Illinois. It's tiny and lacks the life of big universities that I want. I chose this school because of my parents, now I wish I would've made my own decision and gone out to the east coast like I prefered. So, please take the time to chance me. I would really appreciate it! I'm sort of in a pickle and any help/advice would be fantastic!

Also, i have recommendations; two to be exact. They are both great for the record. So that's not a problem. As for essays, I'm a pretty good writer and an English major... not too worried about that aspect of applying. If anyone else has transferred, any helpful hints?

If I need to provide any more info let me know. Or if you have any suggestions.... looking for a school where academics truly matter and a school that has national recognition for grad school purposes. Thanks!!
