What do you think ?

Columbia and MIT are really big reaches but you never know. The rest are reaches. Find some safeties!

Columbia and MIT are biiigggggg reaches.

Chance back?

BU & Maryland are my safties. Since i live in MD my chances of getting in are really high… and both my parents went to BU .

UMD: good chance; SAT scores hurting you (and me!)
BU: same as UMD
MIT, other ivies: Like every other Ivie applicant… low reach
USC: reach

I could give you a better chance if I knew where you lived (not to be creepy or anything, but for one, your chances at UMD would increase if you were in state). That being said, I think you’re in at UMD if you’re in state. OOS it’s a low reach. BU I think is a match for you. MIT is a reach. It’s extremely competitive, but I think you’ve got a decent shot especially being a female in engineering (which does help in some ways). USC is a match. I think you’re in at Columbia being a legacy and since your stats are pretty strong. Good luck :)
