I want to major in East Asian Language and I heard that Grinnell College is famous for its strong curriculum in EAL. Any other schools?

Grinnell is well known for many things but I’m not sure East Asian languages is something they are famous for. They do offer a major in Chinese and teach Mandarin, as well as classes in history, culture, and religion. There are study abroad opportunities in China and elsewhere in Asia. And they offer Japanese language instruction and a class or two in fiction and film-but that’s the extent of it.

By the way, are you looking for financial aid?

Thanks for the information. Actually I need financial aid.
