<p>Hello, I'm a Chinese American male who applied ED for UPenn. I'm OOS and I go to a top public high school in Michigan.</p>

<p>Stats:
GPA: 3.85 (All B's from freshman and 1st semester sophomore year)
SAT: 2260 (780M , 730 CR, 780 Wr)
ACT: 34
APs : US history(5), Calc BC(5), English Lang(5), Chem(5), Macroecon(5), Microecon(5), Chinese(5), Stats(5), Psych (self study) (5), currently taking Gov AP, English Lit, Bio, European History, and Physics C.
SAT II: US History (800), Chem (790), Math II(800)
National AP Scholar (Before Senior Year)
National Merit Semifinalist</p>

<p>your APs are pretty stellar man, i’d say you’re looking at anywhere around 40-50%
good luck! the only thing i see being a problem is your extracurriculars list, its kinda generic but im sure your essays were good. what did you write about?</p>

<p>I think you have a great shot. Your ethnicity obviously isn’t a plus… but your testing is great, and, though your ECs may be generic, you seem very committed to tennis and it comes across that you are involved in your school/community. </p>

<p>I’d say you probably have a 50/50 shot. I think you SHOULD be accepted, but after a certain point, as I’m sure you know, it really becomes a crapshoot.</p>

<p>Wow… other than race, that looks a lot like me… other than the fact that I don’t do sports (but have better EC’s and awards to make up for that)</p>

<p>like some people said, your ECs look pretty generic. that being said, everything else is great. those b’s shouldnt rly hurt you since they were so early in high school. what school did you apply to. i’m not sure whether or not they consider AP scores…if so that would really help, those are really impressive. honestly, i think you have as good a shot as anyone really.</p>
