<p>I'm a Jr from SC, who'd like to travel to UNC to further his education. I've heard how hard it is to get in OOS but do I have a shot? If not, where do I need to improve?</p>

<p>I attend a rural school without many more Extracurriculars, but I am trying to establish more. This is probably my school of choice so I'd like to get a head start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>i think you will have a good shot if you improve your SAT I score (try to get 700s across the board). 1000 hours of volunteering? If that’s not a typo, that’s amazing! you’re EC’s are pretty good IMO (i’m also the head of the Habitat club at my school). since you’re a junior, just concentrate on that for now keeping your GPA at that 4.0 UW and maintaining your valedictorian spot in your class. <p>Try taking ACTs too, you might do better on them, some people do.</p>

<p>I think you look like a really candidate, but no one has a guaranteed admission but I’d say you have a very very strong shot. Best of luck</p>
