not sure how to calculate weighted, but should be around 4.2
I've got quite a few Bs in my math and science classes but I come from a really competitive high school. grades have made an huge upward curve but my first semester senior grades might drop a bit</p>

I did JV sports freshman and sophomore year. failed at both of them so i stopped.</p>

Tutoring, 4 hours per week (12th grade)</p>

<p>Essay: great
Recs: hopefully pretty good</p>

<p>Awards:
National Merit Commended, tech club team award (12th grade), regional science award (10th grade), passed piano with honors, AP scholar (11th grade)</p>

<p>Race: Asian</p>

<p>I moved a lot before my freshman year so my grades in the beginning weren't that great. I think I'll probably apply for the humanities.</p>

@ kyrgyz: yeah, i know my chances for some of them are really low. the thing is, my math and science are kinda fail, so those classes dragged down my gpa. i guess my hook is basically that i moved a lot in 8-9th grade and changed schools like 4 times in that year. i guess that could excuse my fresh/soph grades, but the thing is, my first semester senior grades aren’t looking that great…</p>
