Chance me, please!

So I just finished all my apps, and nerves are settling in. Please do me a favor and chance me for these schools (you don't have to do 'em all!):
Stanford, Duke, Tufts, Harvard, Wesleyan, University of Chicago, Yale, Columbia, Swarthmore, UCLA, Berkeley, UCSB (guaranteed admission by ELC).

I don't have a top choice, though I would prefer not to go to a UC.

GPA: 4.00 unweighted, 4.5 weighted (4.5 is the cap)

Rank: 11/580-ish (don't remember the exact number)

SAT scores (reading/math/writing/total):
1. 680/640/700/2020
2. 700/760/720/2180
3. 760/780/770/2310

SAT II scores:
Math II- 760
Lit- 720
Physics- 720

AP scores:
Euro- 4
US History- 4
Physics- 3
Stats- 5

Extracurriculars (this is the part where it starts going a bit downhill, I think):
1. Dance- I do tap and jazz and dance for about 3 hours a week, not counting rehearsals. I danced more intensively in middle school and freshmen year, but now I don't have the time anymore, sadly. I do two main performances a year, and when recital time comes I have about six hours of rehearsal a week. I also teach little kids how to tap during the summer.
2. Volunteer- I volunteer at a hospital 3 hours a week. I started the summer before junior year.
3. Research- Last summer I did a research project (not original research) with a professor from a nearby university along with a couple of other students. The project was on geology. It was for three weeks, about five hours a day, Monday through Thursday.
4. Internship- I had a six-week (2 hours a week) internship at a zoo during junior year. That was pretty fun.
5. Choir- I was in choir until junior year, and then it didn't work out with my schedule this year. It was either choir or AP Calc. Sad choice.
6. Journalism- So we have a journalism class that does the school newspaper that's only offered one period, and I was unable to fit it into my schedule (story of my life?), but I've written a few pieces for the paper.

Awards:
I don't have any fancy awards, save for those school academic letters. Oh and I'm an "AP Scholar with Honor" (ooh) and I was commended for the National Merit Scholarship. I think I came pretty close to being a semifinalist, I had a PSAT score of 216. Ah well.

Recs:
My counselor's rec is great; he let me read it haha. I'm pretty sure the ones from my teachers are good too. I also have a supplementary rec from the professor I worked with; he gave me an extra copy to read and it was good.

Essays:
I think my "why do you want to come here" essays for Columbia, Yale, and Duke were especially good. My other personal statements are decent, I think; I highly doubt they'll hurt me in anyway.

Other:
I'm Korea, oh no. And I'm a girl. I live in California. An interesting thing about me though, is that despite my Korea heritage I don't speak any Korean; I am however, fluent in Spanish. I'm an ELC student, which basically means I'm in the top 4% of my class, and I'm guaranteed admission to a UC (Irvine/SB/Davis/Riverside, but I'm only applying to SB). My school is not very competitive; most kids end up at Irvine or UCSD if they're lucky, and maybe a dozen students go to high-ranked private universities every year. That's pretty much it.

Anyone? I’m having a mini-panic attack over here haha.

Duke seems like a match
Stanford: reach, but I’m no sure if they’r more of less lenient on in-state students
Ivies: reach, but they are for everyone, I know people with similiar credentials who have been rejected and I know one that had much lower but legacy, so was accepted to Harvard.
Tufts: low reach/match
Your SAT’s are solid to say the least.
Good Luck!

Thank you very much for your input!

Four months of dreadful anticipation. Oh geez.

Anyone else care to chance me?

hey, returning the favor. well first off i will say that we are applying to many of the same schools except that i applied early action to stanford and got rejected. i wrote my essays the night before…anyways onto the chancing.

i think your pretty much a sure deal for your UC schools. im not sure how much emphasis they place on EC’s but your stats are awesome.

Harvard and Yale - they arnt sure for anyone but your scores match their profile. i think the ec’s and awards will hurt you here though. i would say a low matches.

Duke and UC are strong matches.

Columbia match.

The rest i have no idea. Best of luck to you and merry christmas.

in at all UCs
duke : match/high match
u of chicago/high match

good luck!

please chance back?

Duke- 5
Stanford: 4
Ivies: 3- 5
Tufts:6
chance me http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/831718-can-i-get-into-johns-hopkins-engineering-ed.html

Stanford - big reach
Duke - reach
Tufts(overrated) - low reach/possible match
Harvard - big reach
Wesleyan - possible match
University of Chicago - low reach/possible match
Yale - big reach
Columbia - big reach
Swarthmore - low reach

I won’t do UCs, but Berkeley is a low reach.
And you’re Korea

Your ECs are kind of lackluster, SAT scores phenomenal, SAT II scores great, and AP scores average. :

I would say
Tufts - low reach
Wesleyan - match
Duke - reach (applications have gone through the roof this year)
UChicago - low reach
Swarthmore - reach
Yale/Columbia/Harvard/Stanford - big reaches

Your EC’s are pretty average for THOSE schools. but the research could look good if you really built it up.

did yoou apply early?

I’m thinking
Tufts: low reach/high match
Wesleyan- reach
duke: reach
uchicago: low reach
swarthmore: reach
columbia/harvard/stanford/yale: big reach
UCs: probably a match

Wow, you really pulled your SAT scores up a lot. that can only help you.

ECs are kinda average, but you’ve stuck with them long term, which shows dedication.

Good luck :)
