chance me please!

<p>im a junior and have always wanted to go to fordham even though i know it is a bit of a reach for me. please tell me what you think my chances are when i apply next year!</p>

<p>unweighted gpa: 3.6 (low i know)
SAT: 1720 (will retake in spring)</p>

<p>took all honors classes my freshman and sophomore year (AP not available until a junior at my school)
AP Spanish language
AP English Literature
AP Statistics
taking AP Bio and AP English Lang senior year</p>

<p>extras:
-president of interact club (rotary)
-officer for amnesty international club
-involved in many other clubs throughout the years
-GOLD president's volunteer service award 6 years in a row
-camp fire boys and girls member 12 years
-co-leader of discovery/horizon group for campfire
-young buddhist association (YBA) member 4 years
-religious chair for YBA
-on the youth advisory board for the youth volunteer corps (YVC)
-YVC participant 5 years
-regular volunteer at Harborview Medical Center and Treehouse for Kids for the past two years</p>

<p>I am also japanese-american and live in Seattle if that makes a difference</p>

<p>Your gpa is fine. Keep working on it and try to improve it. </p>

<p>Your combined SAT is a bit low. You want a 1250 CR/Math score…and really a 1300 to feel like you are in the safe zone.</p>

<p>Otherwise your ec’s are fine. Being Japanese American will help you. Most asians at Fordham are predictably Chinese. </p>

<p>Apply EA and improve your SAT to at least a mid to high 1800 and I think you should be fine :).</p>

<p>Your SATs are low. Raise them and maybe take an SATII or two. Not required, but a 650+ look nice.</p>
