---- Our school is complete CRAP...yeah. So I guess that's a plus?

Major: I want to major in Physics and minor in Religion...I wrote about how similar the two can be.
I also wrote an extra essay on my interest in engineering after the Tech Challenge.

I'm applied to:
Duke [Pratt]
Cornell [Engineering] and [Arts and Sci]
Princeton [Engineering]
Stanford
MIT
Caltech
Cal
UCLA

What state are you from?

Your school’s insufficiency can either hurt your chances or have no effect. It will depend on how much the admissions weigh the ranking of your school and the general rigor of the classes, compared to the ones you enrolled in.

URM status, as we all know, helps. Your SAT may be a little low for the Ivy Leagues, but I think you’re in competition for Stanford (iffy), MIT (iffy), Cornell, and Duke. The others I am not so sure about!

I’m from California, the Bay Area. Our school just barely missed the State expectations in its standardized tests…and recently some of the faculty including the principal has been the recent attacks of the local newspaper.

But it offers like around 13 AP classes. So I guess its an okay school? I was exaggerating when I said crap I guess.

bump?!?..please?

DUKE/CORNELL/UCLA-High Match
The rest-Reach

Good Luck!

^Is Caltech and Cal a reach too? I’m from California btw.

Wow you’re just oozing diversity! Your EC’s are totally impressive as is your GPA. Your SAT isn’t as high as some Ivy’s want but again, I think you make up for it in in your other areas. Your AP Scores aren’t as high as they should be, however I think the most harm that they could do is probably not get you credit upon entering college.

Duke [Pratt] Low Reach/Match
Cornell Reach/High Match
Princeton [Engineering] Match
Stanford High Reach for anyone
MIT High Reach for anyone
Caltech High Reach for anyone
Cal ?
UCLA Match

Goodluck!
