Grades

Rank 1/595, 4.87 GPA Weighted, 4.0 Cumulative Unweighted Got a 5 on Euro exam from soph year. Expecting a 5 on APUSH and a 4/5 on AP English Language. My other classes are all accelerated and the highest my school will offer students in the grades they are in.

SAT/ACT

SAT: 2200
Writing - 800
Math - 770
Reading - 630
Retaking in March to improve reading and my superscore to hopefully a 2270-2300 range

ACT: 33
English - 34
Math - 35
Reading - 34
Science - 30 (Go kill yourself science!)
Retaking during the state mandated test because I'm required to. If my science goes up, I should have no issue getting at least a 34, maybe a 35.

Will have very good recommendations, one from my APUSH teacher, who also taught me freshmen year, and my Physics teacher. My counselor has never had an Ivy hopeful student, so I'm sure he'll be trying very hard to help me get in too.

So, what do you guys think? Anything you see lacking that I'm not already trying to reiterate?
(I'm taking Subject Tests in May/June btw)

I can’t claim to be any kind of expert, as I’m applying to Columbia now, but my stats are a good deal lower than yours (33 ACT, 2080 SAT, 4.3ish GPA), and I decided to apply. My opinion: go for it.

You have amazing grades and test scores.I’d say you have a very very good chance.

Thanks guys! Any current students/admitted students have any input?

By the way, here is my class list for senior year:

AP Econ Micro/Macro
AP Calc BC
AP Chem
AP Bio
Gov Acc (we take AP exam, my school doesn’t have “AP Gov”
Senior Leaders (teach a P.E class)
AP English Lit

Possibly Self Studying:
AP Comparative Gov
AP Human Geo

2200 is dece, as is a 33. GPA is insane.

Thanks, any opinions on ECs?

agree with conorske about gpa+sat/act
as for ec, i would say they are pretty good, could be a bit better if you want to improve your chances of getting in

ECs are so so I’d say…no HUGE commitments. 70 hrs is nothing to write down on an application, and the others are nice but don’t exactly

Conorske, I don’t know for sure but considering those 70 hours are all at one place I think it is still worth writing down.
