What college and program of study are you applying to?

i want to either double major in math/econ or math/finance. So i’ll apply to business school and then general studies(or whatever its called)

Your SAT is fine for business, but your class rank is well below the mid 50% of applicants accepted into business (top 9% to top 2%). Your GPA is showing an increasing trend, which is something they consider, but you don’t list any AP courses. They look heavily at the rigor of the classes that you have taken compared to the toughest classes that are offered at your high school. If they have accepted that many students from your HS this year, your guidence counselor would be able to tell you how you stack up to others that were accepted this year. If I had to take a guess, I’d say business would be a slight reach at this point because of your class rank. I’d continue to show an upward trend, and take some APs. If you don’t get into business, I’d say Division of General Studies would most likely be a match.

why don’t u take the act?

not good at science part

It seems that you like latin very much but it also looks like you want to pick math as your future major.

dude don’t worry about not taking AP classes and your class rank. I have a similar gpa as you, top 30% of class, and a much lower SAT score than you and I still got in, although i applied undeclared. you’ll be fine, especially since you went to a college prep high school.

Class rank will hurt you bad in Business, but everything else is in range. Write good essays and maybe take ACT? Good luck!
