Do you reccomend taking the SAT subject tests or not?

Thanks for reading everyone.

UCLA and UCB is almost for sure in because they only look at 10th and 11th grades. Uhm, yeah you most certainly HAVE to take the SAT Subject tests.

Ivies are unpredictable so I cant chance for those. You ahve an upward trend, which is excellent and will be noticed.

Chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/935688-please-chance-meeeeeeeeeeeee.html

Pros-
-URM status
-SATs
-Merit Scholar

Cons-
-no SAT II’s, those are REQUIRED for admission in most places
-EC’s- these are horrible, your a great athlete, but it doesn’t show anything more. Join/create some clothes, leadership, volunteering. No offense here, but as URM, your EC opportunities are pretty wider. Lots of summer programs are mended towards URMs, and its still not too late to do some of those things^^

I’ve done some volunteering at a hospital, and other fundraiser type things. Forgot to metion I’m also in Empty Bowls, a club that raises money and holds food drives for people that don’t get enough to eat. My friend and I are also going to start a club next year.

bumpppp…

anyone else?

what did you get on your psat to get the merit scholar award?

80 cr 78 m 76 w = 234

whoops. 78 CR 80 M

anyone else?

Did your parents graduate from those universities? In other words, do you have legacy at either of those U’s?
Your c’s and b’s are gonna kill ya no matter what, hate to say.

My dad went to Harvard, and my mmom went to UPenn.

Okay, so, you don’t have legacy.

If that doesn’t count then no.

And I heard that the UC’s don’t look at freshman grades.
