<p>I'm a junior at a public high school with about 300 students per class </p>

<p>Gender: M
Nationality: White</p>

<p>SAT: 2020
Writing: 690
Math: 800
Reading: 530
Retaking in October, mainly just to bring up CR, Taking ACT on Saturday</p>

<p>SAT II's: 790 on Math 2c, took chemistry in june
(you can see that im obviously a math person which is why i hope the poor CR wont matter too much)</p>

<p>GPA: freshman year: 3.9, sophmore year: 4.01, senior year: 4.35, cumulative:~4.1
Class Rank: Top 1-2%, no actual number although i bet i would be in the top 10/15/20</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
-3 years of Debate Club(vice president 11th grade, president next year)
-national honor society(vice president)
-3 years of Model UN(probably will be head delegate next year)
-3 years of DECA(attended state conference both times and probably will attend 3rd next year)
-selected and participated in Moody's Mega Math Challenge
-selected and participated in Chemistry Olympics (came in 5th for state)
-selected and participated in Chemistry Olympiad</p>

<p>Awards:
-won various debate awards, my school came in first overall, mainly do to my partner and i
-completed 1st round of IBM Master the mainframe contest
- honor roll/high honor roll
-Coach's award from Debate Coach (award that coach determines who should get over entire team)</p>

<p>Community Service and Jobs:
-CIT at a camp
-got bout 5 hours helping out an indian reservation in montana
-14 hours helping out the glacier national park in montana
-still looking for a job for this summer
-many hours of tutoring</p>

Brown *i really liked the campus, environment, and atmosphere when i visited during model UN may apply ED
Northwestern (visiting over summer) - went to info session, seems like a really good school may apply ED instead
wash u (visiting over summer) - third possible ED choice
tufts (honestly dont know anything about the school)

johns hopkins(wasnt a big fan when i visited)
georgetown (big reach and not THAT interested, wasnt a big fan when i visited)

<p>Definitely study hard for the reading, obviously. The reading gets pretty easy once you figure out how to extract the main idea. Once you have that down, with some thoughtful essays, you’re a good bet for even the top schools you posted.</p>
