Chance me please!

All input is welcome!

School:
Small, private, Catholic school
2-4 people per year go to top 40 schools, most people go to pretty good schools (100% go to 4-year colleges)
Has very little class variety
Gives very little GPA weight for AP classes and none for honors

Stats:
GPA: 4.13
SAT: 2290 superscore (700 CR, 800 M, 790 W + 8 essay)
ACT: 34 (35 English, 34 Math, 33 Reading, 33 Science, 31 English/Writing + 8 essay)
Subject Tests: 800 Math II, 800 Chemistry, 790 Biology M
APs: 5 English Language, 5 Biology, 5 Statistics, 5 European History
Class rank: top quintile (probably between 2 and 5 out of 50, but my school only reports the quintile)

Senior Schedule:
AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP English Literature, Honors Spanish 5, Honors Physics, World Religions, Advanced Band, Wind Ensemble

Activities:
Music: I play the oboe (made both all-state band and orchestra in 11th grade, member of 2 school bands, played in pit orchestra for school play, member of local youth orchestra, volunteer as an accompanist at 2 different churches (one for Sundays, the other for special events), accompanist at school functions (background music for open house or graduation), volunteer as a music tutor at inner-city school)
Field Hockey (Varsity)
Lacrosse (JV Captain)
Math League (Captain, tripled team membership over 3 years and made the club "cool", team went to state meet in 10th and 11th grade, I personally was ranked 4th in district as an individual)
Science Olympiad (Captain, increased team membership from 4 to 10 in the last year and made this club "cool" as well, team earned 4 medals in 10th grade (I earned 3 of those) and 6 in 11th grade (I earned 3 of those))
Jefferson Awards for Public Service (Service club, 5 other students and I founded the club this year, our chapter won the award for best new school in the state and received a bronze award at the state competition)

Notable Awards:
HOBY representative from my school
Governor's School for Excellence (Academics category) representative from my school
Rensselaer medalist
NHS member
AAUW award for excellence in science
Will most likely be a National Merit semifinalist and probably a finalist

Hooks:
I come from a small, geographically underrepresented state. I also play the oboe, which is an unusual instrument and could be a potential hook.

MY COLLEGES:
Duke, Yale, Notre Dame, Princeton, Penn, Harvard, Stanford, Ursinus, Penn State's Honors College, University of Delaware's Honors College

Your leadership aspects make your application quite interesting.
Id say
Reaches: Yale, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton ( these are reaches for everyone, I know an International Math Olympiad Gold Medalist who got rejected from Harvard)
Penn and Duke are High Matches
Everywhere else is a Low Match or Safety

Lol, make sure you put those exact words on your app.

Bumppppppp

Unfortunately, I don’t think that schools need to fill quotas for the different sections of their orchestra, so you playing the Oboe isn’t going to be a hook.

Nevertheless, your application is very well-rounded. Your numbers are great and your achievements are impressive. It would help if you could say exactly what state you live in and what your ethnicity is, but from this point, you should have a decent at shot at both Duke and Penn, with Notre Dame and the state schools being matches and rest being reaches.

State: Delaware
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Sex: Female

Notre Dame as a match? Huh. I only know one person who was accepted to Notre Dame, and she had AMAZING stats. I thought it would be harder than a match.

Chance my friend and I promise to chance back on her behalf!
