CSU gpa: 4.3 (unweighted 3.95)
IB program
15 hours of work per week but just started this summer

50+ community service hours

I want to major in civil engineering.

Hey dmsenior. im applying next year too :] . but different major so we wont be competiing with each other. From what i researched and heard, outofstate and instate are looked at the same in the application process. So according to your SAT scores they’re great . I would also take ACT b/c i know they perfer it and Cal Poly looks at grades 9-11 when calculating your gpa, just in case you didnt know that. They don’t really look at EC either. haha ok… Good luck!

dmsenior93^ You are looking good. I agree that you should take the ACT because Cal Poly likes it. You won’t be able to show all of your EC’s because it is a simple questionairrre, but the rigor of your courses and GPA and test scores are the most important and yours are great. Good luck!
