Member of National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, community service groups, Vice President of Asian Culture Club, Magnet Program Graduation Endorsement, Health Occupations Students of America, National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline Advocate, Orchestra, A bunch of tutoring and mentoring, and Hospital volunteer.</p>
<p>I'm applying for a psychology major.
I'll be submitting 2 rec letters. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but my high school is ranked in the top 50 high schools in USA. I live in-state in Texas, and I'm applying to all Texas schools.</p>

<p>Assured Admission Criteria: Students who take the Texas recommended high school curriculum and graduate in good standing and who possess any of the following scores or rankings are assured admission:

<p>Entering freshmen should have successfully completed a full, college-track high school curriculum, including language arts (4 units), mathematics (3.5 units), science (3 units of laboratory science, excluding physical science), social sciences (3 units), foreign language (2 units in a single foreign language), and fine arts (.5 unit in music, art, or drama). In addition, students must demonstrate strong general verbal/quantitative aptitudes as measured on national standardized tests (ACT or SAT). </p>
<p>All students who do not meet the assured admission criteria are reviewed by the UT Dallas Admissions Committee. The UT Dallas Admissions Committee considers the applicants achievements in work experiences, community service, extracurricular activities, and surmounting obstacles to pursue higher education. Letters of reference from high school teachers, counselors, supervisors and activity leaders are appropriate in such instances.
