Like everyone else said work on the SATs. I’m think with retaking your tests you have a good chance at UPenn and Duke. I don’t know enough about Cornell.

UVA is confusinggg. I know people who had about the same stats as you and didn’t get accepted, yet there are people from my high school who had <3.5 GPA but lots of ECs and a great SAT score that got in. The student body pres at my school last year had a 4.0 and got waitlisted. So I think you’ve got a good shot but since the way they seem to do admissions is crazy, I can’t say for sure. Your ECs will definitely be a plus though. Best of luck to you!

Since you’re applying ED to Penn, you might have a good chance if you raise your SATs to 2150+. However, Yale is a reach, as well as Cornell and Duke, since regular admission is a lot tougher than early decision. You will get into UVA and I don’t know much about Williams

UVA and UPenn are definitely within your reach. Duke is also possible. The rest are a crapshoot though. It even seems like people roll some dice to see who gets admitted.

Like you said we probably both need to raise our sat scores but its kind of late to do that if you want ED. I had the opportunity to speak with admissions officers from UPenn and Duke. I asked them whether there is that much of difference between being in the upper middle 50% of test scorers and being in the lower 50% and they both said that the transcript is by far, more important and that essays and recs are just as important to them as test scores. So not all hope is lost. Good Luck!

As others have mentioned already, I think the only things holding you back are your class rank and SATs. 2200+ should give you a fair shot at everything except Yale, but your unique ECs and essay topics may put you in an excellent position for them too.
