<p>Your ACT score is equal to what mine was currently and your SAT score is 140 points higher than what mine was, however I was in the top 20% at one of the top 100 high schools in the nation.</p>
<p>I would say you’re in, do you go to a small extremely competitive school? The only reason there may be some concern by admissions is being in the lower half but I think your scores are good enough to make up for that.</p>
<p>Thanks for the reply. Yeah, my school is pretty competitive, more so because the top 10% is a whopping 4 people. But my test scores beat the top ranked students in my class by ~200 points, so I can really only blame myself for being lazy freshman and sophomore years.</p>
<p>I should be able to get up a few ranks this semester though.(difference between me and #21 is about half a point)</p>
<p>The problem is while I’m making low A’s in calc and high B’s to A’s in other APs, there are others making 100% in every class because they’re taking math models and five agriculture classes that consist of painting a fence or doing some other free labor for the school and then being rewarded with a nice 98.</p>
<p>they may be taking easy classes and receiving high grades, but A&M takes into account the difficulty of classes. Its a positive and negative for you in a way. It’ll make people jump ahead of you in rank, but you are going to be recognized for the difficulty of classes.</p>
