<p>Please, please, please chance me? (:
I know it's a bit early, but I just want to know if I'm on the right track!</p>

<p>Race: Caucasian
Gender: Male
Living in: New York
Financial Aid: Necessary.
Applying for 10th grade to Choate, Deerfield, Westminster, Kent, Berkshire, Avon, St. Georges.</p>

<p>I go to a good public high school right now.</p>

<p>Grades:</p>

<p>in seventh and eighth grade i messed up, i had c's and b's at a private catholic school,
However i just got my midterm progress reports, i have all a's a 4.0 average, i intend to continue this for the entire year</p>

Spanish 1 (I previously took 3 years of french, decided to switch)

--Saxophone - 6 years
i played at my private middle school for 5 years, while taking lessons, still do.</p>

<p>--Guitar - 1 year
I have played electric guitar for one year and take private lessons.</p>

<p>--Ice Hockey - 8 years
I have played for several travel teams, i have played for 4 years at my old private middle school, in 8th grade was awarded best defensive player, i am on the varsity hockey team for my high school, i am currently doing pre-season at my school.</p>

<p>--Lacrosse - 6 years
I have played for a private town travel league for 6 years, i played for my private
middle schools team for 3 years (Varsity), this year i will be playing on JV or Varsity for my public school.</p>

<p>--Model Congress
I have a strong passion for debating, i am in model congress, i am the under class-man Vice President for Young Republicans, i am also in Socratic Debate, which is also a debate club</p>

<p>--Art
This year i had one of my oil paintings chosen for our schools art show, i currently take studio art, and have a good relationship with my teacher.</p>

(Seems like a lot, but meetings are irregular.)</p>

<p>I had one brother who went to and graduated for Kent in 2004, he went to Boston University from Kent, and is now at University of Miami Law</p>

<p>I have another sister who graduated from Choate Class of 2010', she is currently at Rollins College, She was the captain of Varsity Girls Lacrosse, and Field Hockey, she was on the radio and several other Extra Curricular's.</p>

<p>Last year i had a 45 on math (horrible i know) 65 on reading and 69 on vocab, This year i am going to study alot harder and hope to get mid (75 ish) across the board on my exams.
Please tell me honestly how i stand up to get into some of these schools.</p>

<p>I think you have a fairly good chance, especially with your strong extra-curriculars. All of your athletics will be positives, along with your debate etc., and your years of experience show your commitment. But I do agree you would definitely have to keep your grades above a B.
