BU is definitely my #1 choice right now! I am currently a junior in high school.

GPA: 3.6 UW
My school doesn’t weight our gpas.

Test Scores:
I haven’t taken the SATS yet (will take in January), but I’ve done a bunch of practice tests and have been getting scores around 1950 pretty consistently
Will take Lit, Bio and Math 2 for SAT IIs

Class Rigor:
Freshman year–accelerated global studies, accelerated english, accelerated bio
Sophomore year–accelerated chem, accelerated english (there were no higher-level math or history courses)
Junior year–AP language and composition, APUSH, LOTS of science classes (anatomy, physics, forensics), again–no higher level math or science…just college-prep
Senior year–I’ll probably take AP Bio, AP Calc, AP Stats, AP English

Also, I started out in French II as a freshman and will complete French V by the end of high school. Only one other girl in my grade will also complete French V. It’s pretty unheard of here.

Extracurriculars:
Yearbook (hopeful editor for next year)
Foreign Language Club (Vice Pres)
A World of Difference (a group that educates freshmen at school about prejudice and racism. also helps them ease into high school)
Buddy Program (a group that helps with all different types of freshman orientations (summer orientation, open houses, etc))
Alternative Spring Break Club (going to Mississippi with Habitat for Humanity this Spring Break. For now, we organize a bunch of fundraisers)
Reach Out (community service group)
JV Softball Manager (sophomore year), Varsity this year and next year
Volunteer at the local animal shelter
I just applied for a bunch of part-time jobs, so hopefully I’ll have one of those soon
Also, a hopeful NHS member at the end of this year. Crossing my fingers!

Awards:
Just some minor stuff, like foreign language student of the month a few times. hahaha.

Other info:
First-generation college student, lived overseas for 4 years in Ireland (don’t really know how this would ever come to the attention of admissions, though)

Any advice/opinions/ideas will be very, very appreciated! :)
