hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me my chances for tomorrow decision day for the duke

I applied ED first but got deferred I did ask what I did wrong in my application and they said it was test scores that I could bring up this is what I got

Hispanic
ACT: ED=28 I raised it to a 30 for RD
Leadership position in Key Club and NSHS
part of national art honor society, NHS, student ambassadors, math honor society
I tutor in my free time
started a food drive for a local animal shelter
ranked 1 in class
GPA: 5.17
Taken 15 AP classes
Work on the side
Did some sports during school
after deferred I sent in an extra letter (I did ask if this was okay and they said yes) about my commitment to Duke
honor roll

I got into UNC though, so I’m afraid we’re rivals haha!

Honestly though, it shows really good initiative that you contacted the school to see what you could do, and I hope that the extra letter helped your chances!

I got into unc too and even tho I love it I grew up and feel more at home at duke.
