Chance me pleaseee?

Please chance for Caltech and please be brutally honest. Do not tell me Ill get in just so ill chance u back (ill do it regardless of what you say)

Assuming i write good essays, how are my chances? From what I've seen, they don't seem too good (which makes me kind of sad). I screwed up a lot my freshman and sophomore year. I just didn't take school seriously enough. Though my junior year was an improvement, its still not "great".

Cum GPA = 3.47 (4.23 weighted)
Freshman gpa = 3.29
Sophomore gpa = 3.43
Junior GPA = 3.69
Freshman year really killed my gpa... i would have a 4.5 weighted if it wasn't for the massive amount of Bs i got that year. (Breakdown below)

Find Michael Wood’s post. Here’s what I think. You are a very impressive candidate (everyone who applies to Caltech is), but the fact that you have more B’s than A’s is going to hurt you…a lot.

Situations definitely vary by candidate, but are you not trying as hard in your classes as you are with your tests?
