I know that my test scores are low, but I am just very bad at taking standardized tests. Also with ACTs is it possible to mix the scores because than I would have a 30-31ish...or should I just send both reports to all my colleges?

Thank you,

you will get in no doubt..
trust me you can get in. but i sugest going for a better school
you are worth more than GW>

arite sweet..well gwu is pretty good..im applying to the ivies too..so i will so how it goes...thank you

hi rappasani, if i would say one thing about your application its raise your standardized test scores. GW doesn't superscore with the ACT however I believe they do it with the SAT. you have interesting work experiences and seem devoted to medicine. one of my good friends here is pre-med track and he loves what hes doing. the hospital is fantastic and the med-school program as well as the public health program are both top notch. try to raise your test scores a bit and id say youre a definite match.

arite sounds good..i had actually looked at GWs ACT 50% middle score and its about 26-30..so i thought a 28 would be good enough to be a match

right but dont just assume youre in because youre a match. gw has an interesting tendency to waitlist/reject a lot of kids who dont show enough interest or look like they are trying to use gw as a safety school. show interest and dont blow off gw because you think youre a match. remember to take test scores with a grain of salt as well because while it would seem to say youre in the 50th percentile it also means that half the students entering gw that took the act test scored above you. so its important to show interest and if possible raise your scores because 50 percentile doesnt guarantee admission. i know a couple kids that thought they were matches at gw with similar scores but were waitlisted and let in off of the waitlist after they showed more interest.

okay..thank you so much for the advice..ill definitly be keeping in touch with the admissions office more then...im not going to be taking anymore tests tho
