I know that my test scores are low, but I am just very bad at taking standardized tests. Also with ACTs is it possible to mix the scores because than I would have a 30-31ish...or should I just send both reports to all my colleges?

Thank you,
-Raghu

man everything looks sooo good except ur test scores

first thing theyll look at is test scores and ranking, uve done good for ur ranking but man...700 is the unofficial cut off to be competitive and 750+ will boost ur chances significantly its ok to get less than 700 in maybe one subject or two but u havent gotten 700 in any of them

sorry to be a downer by my opinion is its a reach but with all that other stuff uve done maybe theyll look past it

wow, you're work experience is great, when did you do all that, over the summer?

shiit raghu youre all over this website haha
i forgot you played the violin... you should have kept playing, orch's fun this yr
and yeah, if its not too late i'd say send ACT instead of SATs

haha ya i wanted to keep playing but u kno the problems my violin had...:/ ya i think im jsut gonna send ACTs

o and most of the research work was done in the summers, but I am still working in the stem cell lab throughout the school year

Wow. How did you manage to get jobs like that? Stem cell research, Columbia medical schol. WOW!

Only thing is your test scores but think a ACT score of 30 sounds better than your SAT scores.

On another not if you do classify as a minority I reckon u have a pretty good chance of getting into a good number of colleges. Your EC's are the saving grace.

On another note if you do classify as a minority I reckon u have a pretty good chance of getting into a good number of colleges, ivies included! Your EC's are the saving grace.

hmm do they consider indians (as in the country India) a minority anymore lol

whoa, if you have jobs like that now, what do you need college for? haha.

If you are an Indian from India, you are not a minority.
In fact, you are an overrepresented minority.

Your ethnicity plus your gender, male, is the the worst possible combination for college admissions. With your extremely low SAT scores, NONE above 700, I'd say REJECT at Brown PLME.

Princeton (and Brown, etc.) are SCHOOLS, not "places-to-do-extracurriculars". Not to sound like an *******, but you need solid grades and test scores for any Ivy before you even consider extracurriculars.

Although, they might make an exception since you do have... a lot of extracurriculars.
